I mentioned if any of you guys have tried the Bear Naked Fruit & Nutty Goodie Bag Granola, 12-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6) since Costco has a bulk of it for sale and was wondering if it was any good. It was such a coincidence that umbelievable.com gave me some to try! He got me the Bear Naked Fruit & Nutty Goodie Bag Granola, 12-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6) which has 8 grams of protein and 14 g of sugar and the Almond Cranberry. My usual complaint about bars is that there's A LOT of sugar but I suppose if you're really active like hiking for a long time, the sugar is good to sustain energy and replenish the calories burned. First bite into the bar was pretty awesome. Why? It was a hot afternoon so you can just see and taste the melted chocolate PLUS the peanut butter! I savored each bite and loved it because not only you get a lot of chocolate and peanut butter flavor, but also because of the crunch from the nuts, crisp rice, and the flax seeds. This was more of a dessert then anything. But I did like the crunch from the almonds, flax seed, and the peanuts. I prefer the chocolate peanut butter. It kept me full for a while. Try out their other flavors such as Bear Naked Layered Granola Bars Nutty Double Chocolate 1.41 Oz Each (8 Count), Bear Naked® Real Nut Energy Bars, Almond Cranberry and Bear Naked® Real Nut Energy Bars, Peanut Butter which has 9g of protein! If you're allergic to nuts be careful as it contains peanut, soy, milk ingredients, and other tree nuts. I love how natural it is because it's non-GMO, there's no artificial preservatives, no high fructose corn syrup, no hydrogenated oils or cholesterol, and is delicious. The only thing I was disappointed was that it contains soy lecithin which can cause skin rashes, drop in blood pressure, and face swellings, but it also depends on the source of the soy. Soy sprayed with pesticides certainly can cause these side affects whereas organic soy will not.
