If you haven't, check it out because I share all the snacks you could ever want from there. I was really craving chocolates that day and finally decided to try these Bark Thins Snacking Dark Chocolate Toasted Coconut with Almonds, 16 Ounce. Plus I'm way behind reviewing this because weeks ago when I posted a picture on the Bark Thins Snacking Dark Chocolate Toasted Coconut with Almonds, 16 Ounce on Instagram, the people from barkTHINS liked my picture. I also mentioned that I'd review it but then I totally got side tracked with all my other posts. So anyways I like how the bag wasn't too big. I was expecting a much more enormous size considering it's from Costco. But anyways right when I got it I tried it right away. Each of the barks are a fairly good size. There's small, med, and large pieces so choose to your heart's content. I opened the bag while "G" was waiting to get gas at the Costco gas station. I grabbed a pretty big sized bark and take a good look at it. But before I could notice anything else I noticed the barks were a bit gray looking and also discolored  😥  Nothing gets me more sad than seeing gray chocolate!! Ahhhh! Why does chocolate look gray sometimes? I just learned that there's two types of culprit where one is called Sugar Bloom whereas the other culprit is called Fat Bloom. With Sugar Bloom, when there's moisture on the surface it causes the sugar on the chocolate to dissolve and once the moisture evaporates, the sugar crystal forms on the surface. And as a result creates a discoloration on the chocolate. On the other hand, Fat bloom doesn't involve the sugar and instead is the fat or cocoa butter that separates from the chocolate. But the main cause for discoloration is the warm storage and  fast temperature change. Other then that, the barks were tasty as you get the perfect crunch from the coconut and almonds and the silkiness of the dark chocolate. Would I recommend this? Yes I would  but if you can't get past the discoloration then this isn't for you.
