My friend’s boyfriend had a birthday gathering here and I was glad we did. We were all waiting outside for a while as the staff got the seat ready for us. We weren’t out in the cold for too long, but the manager was so apologetic that we gave us all a shot of whiskey! I thought he was joking but he wanted us to all take one with him. I never tried whiskey before and I have to say…whew! It was some strong stuff and my stomach was burning in no time.
The food was so delicious and the service was great. I had no idea this was a Greek/ Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern restaurant. My love for that food just recently happened. I just love the seasoning on the meat, the fresh pita bread that comes along with every dish, the yogurt sauce, the steamed veggie, falafel, gyros, baklavas and the many different kind of hummus.
I ordered the Chicken Kabob which is grilled marinated chicken, a side of broccoli, seasoned rice, hummus, corn, tzatziki sauce, and a basket of pita bread.
Aristo Cafe is located at 3768 W 242nd St Torrance, CA 90505 and is just a cute little restaurant with a tiny parking space.
