Hi everyone! It’s wonderful wonderful Wednesday. Nothing gets me through the day by reminding myself we’re that much closer to the weekend. I heard the birds chirping again so when I just close my eyes, I just imagine myself out in Yellowstone or Jackson WY. Also I’ve been noticing that the sun is rising up much quicker as the winter solstice is moving away.
I’ve made my own homemade apple chips but you should know that once you’ve tried making it yourself, it’s really time-consuming but all so worth it. When you don’t have the time to bake your own chips, how about buying a big bag of it at Costco!
Apple season is around September to November but I spoke to my friend who went to Oak Glen in November and there were no traces of apples for apple picking. I was disappointed to hear that since I really wanted to go apple picking. Also I was disappointed because Costco didn’t carry these awesome Bare Fruit Organic, Gluten Free Apple Chips, Cinnamon that my friend bought for our trip to Yellowstone back in October 2013. Once I tried it, I was hooked! The chips were so crispy, crunchy and had the right amount of natural sweetness from the apple.
Every time I went to Costco, it’s been my goal to keep a lookout for those chips, but no luck until recently. The Costco at Fountain Valley CA was carrying apple chips again!
I went back to Costco last weekend and saw they have these heavenly healthy apple chips at the product section so go and grab yours before they disappear again! I still have a huge bag but I’m thinking of getting an extra bag for my healthy snack stash 🙂
