Hi friends, I hope you all had a great weekend! This weekend seemed like it started on Thursday since “G” and I went to Shinsengumi Noodle Restaurant and had dessert at a boba shop called Tea Lounge. The weather has still been icky since it’s very humid. The mornings seems gloomy but as it reaches the afternoon the gloomy clouds are cleared by the sun. The weekend was filled with good eats, sweets, and Tweets. (Jk I haven’t Tweeted this weekend- Just wanted to say it since it rhymes 😆 )

Here’s what to look forward to this week! I’ll be posting about Shin-Sen-Gumi, Tea Lounge, Hi-Times Cellars, Mutt Lynch’s, Paris Baguette, and a bunch of other stuff if can get to it  😛 So stick around! But here’s something about Friday’s Game Night and Newport Beach CA.

Friday Game Night!

Spicy Shrimp & Sausage Pasta
Spicy Shrimp & Sausage Pasta

Since it’s the beginning of August, our friends usually host a game night at their home once a month where we eat delicious food, talk about life, laugh, and play board games. “K” cooked awesome Shrimp & Sausage Pasta because she didn’t want to eat Indian food. I was looking forward to it too but the pasta was awesome along with the chips and salsa.

The tortilla chips were green! There were 2 different salsa and guacamole. See the orange one? It looks cheesy and creamy but it’s super spicy. The green tortilla chips also had a bit of a kick to it.

Our friend “R” mixed up some Margaritas which was much needed. It was yummy and refreshing with a bit of salt on the ring.

Oh and our other friend “B” bought dessert from Costco which was the Costco Strawberry Cheesecake! He’s always bringing yummy desserts. As we were enjoying our food and dessert we were playing Cards Against Humanity and DC Deck Building Game which our friends just loved!

Another thing I forgot to mention was that on Saturday afternoon “G” and I went to the movies to watch Guardians Of The Galaxy. Its the new Marvel movie that I think every Marvel fan or movie goer should go watch! Its humorous and a touching movie.

Sunday Funday Beach Day At Newport Beach CA

Sunday was beach day at Newport Beach CA since we went to Mutt Lynch’s to meet our friend “T” and since it’s been a while since we went here. We arrived at the parking lot around 8:30am yet it was already busy with surfers, runner, families, and beach goers.

Clear waters

It was amazing to see how clear the water was. So clear you could actually see mussel shells and lots of little fishes. We also spotted some seals and lots of boats.

The pier was totally busy with lots of fishers, old, young, families, and all different people.

It’s nice to see everyone can just gather together and do something they love such as surfing, fishing, walking, and just enjoying the free things in life.

I’ve been lazy doing my hair the past few weeks but I’ve been doing well by curling my hair almost everyday!
