So I don’t know about the rest of you but I recently just found out about Nazooks! It looks like a smooth cutesy pastry e with a shiny and glossy coating and smells just like delicious cream cheese danish.

I’m not sure if these Nazooks were authentic since they came in a plastic container just like the mini brownies you find at every supermarket. But hey, I discovered a whole new world of sweets and I never would’ve known if I’ve never tried this.

What are Nazooks? It’s a pastry with a sweet buttery filling and is very common in Russia, Iran, Ukraine, and many other places around the world. It makes a delicious snack that goes well with coffee or tea or just as a small snack. Just make sure you don’t have more than one if possible.

I’ve never seen these at a market so I had to do a little research on where to find them. I found some Nazooks at Kalamala.com where they have many selections of Nazooks as shown below!

My goal is to try other Nazooks from different ethnic groups like Armenian, Iranian, Ukraine, and other recipes that other nations have come up with.
