Hi friends, so over the weekend we went to the Griffith Observatory after the Hollywood Sign Hike which I learned is actually called the Hollyridge Trail.
My bro suggested that I go for a hike in LA because it’s a really popular hiking destination and also because “G” told me he wanted to try that hike since it was a popular hike. “G”, our friend “T” and my bro finally decided to go early in the morning. We knew parking would be difficult to find and it would be a hot day so we left OC at around 7:30 and make it around 8am in the parking lot in front of the Griffith Observatory.
We began our hike right away and the first few steps were pretty difficult. I could immediately feel the incline that you can’t get on a treadmill. The hike really kicked my butt. We took occasional breaks and took the time to observe the Hollywood sign and the views. It really was breathtaking. Below is a pic I took with my phone camera of the Griffith Observatory with the hazy LA buildings in the back.
After our long day hiking and observing the Griffith Observatory, we worked quite an appetite so I looked up a breakfast place nearby and pulled up Square One Dining.
