There’s a big game night or a late night quick get together so you decide to order pizza. You end up buying too much and then you’re left with so much left overs. Hey, that’s not bad because you can just eat that for next day’s dinner. Then you ask yourself, What to do with left over pizza? Well you can reheat it in the microwave, in the oven, or just eat it cold, but have you thought about pressing the two slices together (with the cheese and toppings) and iron press it?
I had some left over pizza and decided to do some experimentation…and came up with…Behold the Grilled Panini-Style Pizza!
Ingredients:
Just two slices of left over pizza. I used the BJ’s Classic Combo which has pepperoni, mushrooms, & sausages.
Directions:
1. Place pizza slices in convection oven in 350 degrees until cheese bubbles.
2. Remove from oven then place the top side of the pizza together.
3. Turn on panini presser and grill until machine says it’s done or until you see noticeable grill marks.
4. Remove from grill.
5. Becareful as it’s very hot, cut it in half and enjoy!
